At CES 2024, Sarah Abernathy, Kenworth’s powertrain marketing manager, discussed their partnership with Toyota and the integration of the automaker’s gen two fuel cell stack into the T680 cab and shaft. She highlighted the impressive features of this vehicle, such as a 450 mile range and a 20- to 30-minute refuel time, emphasizing its zero-emission technology.
Showcasing at the annual show, Abernathy stated, “This show has been such a great experience. We’ve gotten tons of questions and been really exciting to explain fuel cell technology to so many people who might not be familiar. We’re really looking forward to driving to zero emissions.”
