Richard Sambrook, the GM for services and commercial development at Caterpillar, Inc., discussed their readiness for the energy transition at CES 2024 and called attention to the availability of fully electric machines in production today.
At the show, Sambrook stated there are a number of energy transition solutions to be discovered, and explained what the journey could look like in achieving them.
“In terms of, are we ready? I guess we’ve got solutions that are out there ready for customers. However, there’s still a lot we’ve got to learn. It’s an awful lot to learn, and that’s what we’re here to do over the next few years and learn as much as possible,” said Sambrook.
