Earlier this month, aviation executives from all over the world flew to Seoul for the annual meeting of the IATA, the International Air Transport Association.

The gathering occurred in a period of turmoil for the civil aviation industry as the “flygskam” (meaning “flight shame” in Swedish) movement is taking off across Europe.
