Plans to rebuild the stadium for the Rams is underway. The project, which is expected to open in 2020 is projected to cost close to $5B by the time it is complete. The cost includes a 6,000-seat amphitheater, additions of a commercial and retail development, and the future home of NFL Network. Rams owner Stan Kroenke is investing $1.6 billion of his own money in L.A. stadium project. Another $2.25 billion will come from a loan for construction. Upon completion, it will be the most expensive stadium in the U.S, followed only by MetLife Stadium, which cost $1.7 billion.
