Philadelphia, Arlington, Texas and other metropolises across the United States have invested in esports-specific arenas to their downtowns. Envy Gaming President and COO Geoff Moore joined MarketScale Mornings to explain the economic benefit stadiums bring to urban areas and what standalone venues mean to the growth of esports.

The esports business is growing exponentially and Moore said the industry is poised to reach a more diverse audience, particularly in age, as the stigma of playing video games erodes. Arenas and live events will only grow the sector further.
