There has always been a natural separation of ecosystems between the 4 major sports leagues in North America. That appears on the verge of changing with the announcement of a new business partnership between the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers, The NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, The NHL’s New Jersey Devils, and Creative Artists Agency. The new group will be known as Elevate Sports Ventures and their mission is stated as “delivering solutions for businesses that include project transformation, execution, sales, and marketing.”

This alliance will also allow better management of risk, competition, and opportunities for the franchises.

This unprecedented working proposition is even more unique in that CAA traditionally acts as a contract negotiator with professional sports teams.

The group’s focus will initially be on selling stadium licenses, premium ticketing, and providing corporate hospitality. They will have offices in Silicon Valley, Philadelphia, New York and London.
