Using the same sensors in their new PitchTracker, the embedded device can now analyze pitches as well. Product developers Buddy Clark and CJ Handron saw that collecting this data could help match baseball and softball players with a properly-fitted bat while improving their game.

The availability of this data is creating a huge shift in multiple aspects of the sport, from perspective to play and practice to recruitment, by providing more accurate data and personalized information.
