Welcome to Salary Capped, presented by MarketScale, where we explore the intersection of business and sports. Each week, host Tyler Kern will chat with the leaders, marketers and innovators that are powering sports into the future.

Later this week, the college football season officially kicks off, although it will look a little different this year with constant monitoring of COVID symptoms and even “sold-out” games consisting of mostly empty seats. The start of the season will mark a big step forward in the sports world’s march back to normal.

To provide insight into how college sports will be resuming this fall, we invited on regular MarketScale contributor and University of North Texas Athletic Director, Wren Baker. Baker was able to walk us through how the school will be letting fans in through the gates this weekend at 25% capacity, adding that concessions will also have a much bigger emphasis on contactless ordering and delivery.
