Buffalo Bills’ Fans Raise Over $100,000 to Charity

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton beat the Baltimore Ravens, predicted by many to be guaranteed a playoff spot, in a dramatic fourth-quarter drive. The upset win put the Buffalo Bills in playoff contention for the first time in over a decade. Bills fans were ecstatic, and decided to thank the Bengals QB. Within hours of the win, Bills fans flooded Dalton’s charity, “The Anthony and Jordan Dalton Foundation,” with thousands of dollars in donations as a thank you. Over 5,000 donors gave over $100,000 by Tuesday afternoon. Most donations came in $17 increments, a nod to the 17 years since the Bills last appeared in the postseason. To provide daily support, opportunities, resources and life-changing experiences to seriously ill and physically challenged children and their families in Cincinnati and Fort Worth. Andy Dalton thanked the fans for helping his charity and encouraged the donations, setting a new goal of $150K that excited Buffalo fans may just reach.
