Cognizant deepens Snowflake CoCo alliance to push enterprise AI from pilot to production

Key takeaways

01

Cognizant and Snowflake are strengthening their collaboration.

02

The focus is on advancing AI solutions from pilot to production stages.

03

The partnership targets enhanced data and analytics capabilities.

Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) and Snowflake used the stage at Snowflake Summit 26 on June 3 to announce an expanded collaboration built around the Snowflake CoCo platform, with both companies targeting the persistent gap between enterprise AI experimentation and full-scale production deployment.

Why the pilot-to-production gap matters

Most large enterprises have run AI pilots, yet many remain unable to operationalize those experiments at scale due to legacy infrastructure, fragmented data environments, and the difficulty of embedding AI into day-to-day business workflows. Cognizant's AI Builder strategy is designed to address those friction points by connecting AI platforms, domain expertise, and workflow-centric design. The goal, according to the company, is to compress the full AI lifecycle — from semantic model generation and agent orchestration through to governed analytics and streamlined validation — into a timeline that traditional delivery models cannot match.

When the data foundation is AI-ready and business context is built in, build cycles collapse. That is exactly what Cognizant's AI Builder approach delivers, and with Snowflake CoCo, we are putting production-grade AI into enterprise workflows in hours, not weeks. — Naveen Sharma, Senior Vice President and Practice Head, AI & Analytics, Cognizant

Scale of the CoCo deployment

Cognizant reports that CoCo has expanded to more than 2,250 users across its labs and client environments, with over 30 enterprise use cases now fully operationalized. The firm has delivered more than 260 hours of enablement, developed 12 or more custom CoCo skills, and built over 90 revenue-ready accelerators, collectively supporting more than 1.3 million AI-driven requests, according to the announcement.

Cognizant was also named Snowflake's 2026 CoCo Catalyst Partner of the Year for Impactful Customer Story alongside its designation as a Preferred Launch Partner for the platform. Both recognitions signal a deepening commercial relationship between the two firms as enterprises increase spending on agentic AI infrastructure.

A+E Global Media: 200 hours reclaimed in ad operations

A+E Global Media offers a concrete illustration of the partnership's commercial output. Cognizant deployed a conversational analytics agent built on Snowflake CoCo to automate the handling of Creative Airing Logs — a previously manual, multi-step process that required significant effort from Commercial Operations and Legal & Business Affairs teams. The agent allowed business users to query data in natural language, investigate trafficking discrepancies flagged by agencies, and generate ad-hoc reports on problematic product categories.

The deployment helped A+E Global Media reclaim approximately 200 hours of manual effort while also reducing labor costs and accelerating decision cycles, according to Cognizant's announcement. The Cortex agent handled SQL authoring, data quality validation, and exploratory analysis — tasks that had previously required developer involvement.

Broader client outcomes across industries

Cognizant cited several additional client results tied to CoCo deployments across analytics, contract intelligence, compliance automation, financial workflows, and anomaly detection. Reported outcomes include up to 70% effort reduction for a global biopharma leader, approximately $85,000 in annual savings and 1,300 hours reclaimed for a sports and entertainment company, and a 99% reduction in change-impact analysis time for a North American telecom provider.

What comes next

Cognizant said it plans to deepen investment in industry-specific CoCo skills, pre-built agent templates, and cross-platform orchestration capabilities as enterprises look to scale agentic AI programs on governed foundations. The company's AI & Analytics practice — which combines AI engineering, domain expertise, and ecosystem platform integrations — will serve as the primary delivery vehicle for expanded CoCo engagements. The timeline for new use-case releases was not disclosed in the announcement.
