Augmented reality (AR) is a legitimate business tool in 2019. Seen here, in a video captured by Jake Steinerman, a Senior AR Engineer at PTC, companies are able to research and test products before taking them to market.

Steinerman created a virtual Polaris RZR and test-drove it around Liveworx last month. Liveworx is an industry-leading digital transformation conference held each June.

PTC’s AR solution, Vuforia, also provides AR solutions to companies in manufacturing that can be used for service, and sales and marketing. Steinerman used Vuforia to build this replica Polaris RZR.

From aerospace to retail, AR has gone from a consumer product to one that is driving companies forward. As the technology continues to refine, it is only unlocking more insight.
