Now PTC is focusing on cultivating a small, focused “ecosystem” of partners. Cloud-based subscription made up 50% of PTC’s 2017 revenue, and now they are looking to open numerous “Centres of Excellence” with IoT at the center. India is a major recruiting and development ground for PTC, who has partnered with an unnamed regional company to focus on brownfield and greenfield start-up solutions.
