Primary Flight Display Technology Brings New Possibilities in General Aviation

General aviation industry leader and newly minted AIRO Group member Aspen Avionics recently announced new features for the Aspen Pro MAX Primary Flight Display.

The announcement came via live broadcast, where viewers were invited to interact with Aspen Inside Sales Manager Andy Smith, who has more than a decade of experience in the industry.
Smith said the display system has been completely redesigned, offering a new solution that includes:

  • A new sensor board
  • A new processor
  • A new graphics card with 16 million color combinations
  • A new, high-definition screen with antiglare properties in direct light
  • New glass
  • A two-year warranty
  • GPS-aided AHRS
  • An audio panel interface

“Everything, internally, has either been touched or swapped out,” Smith said.
Aspen is also offering a trade-in program enabling those with current Pro MAX systems to take advantage of this new-and-improved solution.

Aspen delivers the aviation industry the ability to get the most out of flying, and the company is confident the new Evolution 1000 Pro MAX Primary Flight Display lives at the leading edge of display solutions.
