How A Sound System Transitioned a French Amphitheater From First Century to First Class

When taking in an event at a venue built in the first century, it is not common to see technology from the 21st.

However, such is the case now at the Arena of Nimes, an historic Roman amphitheater in the south of France that is still active today.

New speakers were installed by Zero-Ohm Systems, a Quebec, Canada-based sound solutions company. These photos were shared by Global AV Network President Baptiste Marmorat. A case study on the project is scheduled to be released soon, according to Marmorat.

Check out the following photos from within the amphitheater to see how Zero-Ohm solutions outfitted the historic artifact with modern technology.
