Seamless customer service is of paramount importance in the hospitality industry. Hotels are becoming more efficient thanks to technology. Mayumi, a hotel in Culver City, California has partnered with OpenKey, a mobile hospitality service, to grant guests a keyless way to access their rooms.

The technology platform will also enable guests at the hotel to book amenities, adjust arrival and checkout times, and eliminate plastic key cards. Mayumi guests will be able to access all of these features on smartphones and tablet devices. According to OpenKey, 85% of hotel guests use a mobile device while traveling.
