“. Several companies have their eyes set on changing the hospitality industry with robots, designed to perform the more mundane tasks that traveler’s experience on a daily basis. In order to get there however, the technology needs a human touch. Current prototypes all seem to be versions of the same concept, a cart on wheels, with varying degrees of voice-control. Guests seem to also prefer human to human interaction as opposed to automated systems. However, creating autonomous hospitality services that guests enjoy will be the key to stay ahead of the industry.
