The seafood restaurant will use the program’s scientific data and educational tools to help inform and guide its fish sourcing methods. The program itself has 379 direct business partners, sincluding grocery and food management companies, and more than 1,000 businesses reference the organization’s data and findings.

Red Lobster’s goal is to improve the health and sustainability of their food supply chain and to develop best aquaculture practices. Ultimately, the restaurant believes this will lead to better choices for seafood consumers.
