New Ways Colleges Can Evaluate Prospective Students Outside the SAT

Anxiety over standardized testing may be a thing of the past for students. Over this past year, many colleges and universities chose to admit new students with more progressive criteria, making test scores obsolete in some cases. Being touted as a “holistic” approach, these institutions evaluate students as contributors to their educational development, rather than using their GPA or test scores to make a determination.
