Elliott Levine is the Director of Worldwide Education at Qualcomm Technologies, and he shared his thoughts about the inequities that the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed in education.

“The pandemic has only highlighted the inequities of education that our children face. In the U.S., alone, 12 million students still lack a computer, internet access or both in their home. We have to find meaningful solutions. We can’t just look in the rearview mirror. Instead, we need to develop a vision that really, truly, digitally liberates children to learn at their greatest potential.

A new generation of computing devices with embedded cellular connectivity and multi-day battery life, both of which are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon compute platforms, are empowering teaching and learning truly any time, any place. The freedom to teach and learn from virtually anywhere is now finally in our sights.”
