At the IN-TECH Academy Google’s Expeditions Pioneer Program is teaching students about augmented reality (AR) and the kids are completely intrigued by the concept. AR differs from virtual reality in that with the latter goggles are used to immerse in another world while with the former computer-generated objects move into the user’s mobile computer screens. This program helps students who learn better with visual stimulus as the app allows instructors to place 3-D images that seem to exist right in front of them. History, biology and other disciplines can all use AR to enhance the teaching experience.
