Jared Shamoon has been immersed in the world of media and film since he was a kid. He fondly remembers creating stop-motion videos in his bedroom using action figures. As he progressed to high school, he eagerly enrolled in Digital Interactive Media, Broadcast Journalism, and Yearbook Journalism classes. These courses equipped him with essential skills like filming, framing, lighting, and editing. With an ignited passion, he pursued further education in college, honing the skills he had developed in high school. He delved into film studies, film technology, and received invaluable guidance. Throughout his college journey, he successfully crafted short films, documentaries, podcasts, and graphics, of which he is immensely proud. Post-college, he remains dedicated to continuous learning, staying up-to-date with current techniques by consuming films, media sources, and social media content. He analyzes both successful and unsuccessful approaches, gleaning insights to enhance his skill set. Prior to launching his career after obtaining his degree, he spent a decade in food service and retail. This experience significantly refined his communication abilities, work ethic, and teamwork skills. It taught him how to effectively convey information to clients, pay meticulous attention to detail, and adeptly execute presentations. He values his diverse background, as it has equipped him to excel professionally in any endeavor he undertakes.
